Role Overview

As an SDE-I at CUBE, you will be part of a high-impact product team working on our flagship platform built on the MERN stack (MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, Node.js). This is an entry-to-mid level role ideal for someone who’s enthusiastic about clean code, product thinking, and continuous learning. You'll work closely with senior engineers and product managers to deliver production-grade features that scale.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain scalable frontend and backend components using the MERN stack
  • Work closely with the product and design teams to implement intuitive user experiences
  • Write clean, modular, and testable code following best practices
  • Participate in code reviews, debugging, and documentation
  • Contribute to technical design discussions and sprint planning
  • Ensure optimal performance, responsiveness, and security of applications
  • Stay updated with evolving technologies and suggest improvements

Requirements

Must-Have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
  • Hands-on experience with JavaScript/TypeScript and the MERN stack (even part of internship/personal projects is acceptable)
  • Solid understanding of RESTful APIs and modern frontend development with React.js
  • Experience working with Git, databases (preferably MongoDB), and server-side logic with Node.js
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills

Good to Have:

  • Exposure to DevOps tools, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS)
  • Familiarity with mobile-responsive design and cross-browser compatibility
  • Experience with version control, testing libraries (Cypress), and Agile methodologies
  • Knowledge of best practices for performance, scalability, and security in web applications
  • Basic understanding of document-based workflows or AEC domain (bonus)
